In December of 2008, Emphasys Software acquired the Desktop product from Evare, LLC. Designed for government and business, the renamed Emphasys Treasury Desktop is an all-in-one investment management software solution for portfolio managers. Emphasys, through its Treasury and Debt Management (TDM) division, will continue to support the Desktop customers and will continue delivering mission critical software for tracking and managing fixed income and equity portfolios.

In December of 2007, Emphasys acquired Sympro, based out of Oakland CA, from JPMorgan Chase & Co. Sympro is a leading vendor of Treasury Management products and currently has over 300 clients primarily in the local government sector. Their products assist clients in tracking and managing their fixed income portfolios of investments.
